I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Wonderful staff, clean rooms, and comfy bed. Great location for a relaxing stay. However, no help with luggage on arrival, strict check-in time, and some staff not welcoming. Room size varied, but good overall. Pricey for amenities offered. Great for exploring Greenwich Village and nearby areas.

For a short stopover before heading to NYU for orientation, the hotel's location was unbeatable; just a quick walk from campus. Despite the outdated decor, the room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a brief stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the quick check-in process a positive experience. The nearby subway stations also made exploring the city convenient and easy.

We had the best stay at this quiet and outstanding hotel. Exceptionally comfortable bed, newly renovated bathroom and climate control, an individual safe and a writing desk in the room. Lots of food at breakfast, such as granola and fruit.

The location of the hotel is perfect to visit all of Manathan. The subway line is very close. In the evening there are many restaurants and bars close to the hotel but the hotel remains quiet.

I find it a pity that in the price of the room the American breakfast is not included (pancake, omelette, sausages, ...). That said, the continental breakfast is nice.

is the second time we've stayed here. area, Greenwich Village, diagonally to Washington Square Park, we love it. little hotel, it's a boutique, historic 1900s hotel that's been refurbished, beautiful. Service, impeccable. small rooms, like all of Manhattan, although this time they gave us a little bigger. staff and cleaning, 10. breakfast, all homemade, an 11!!

The included continental breakfast is satisfactory but many items are presented in plastic containers. Hot dishes (pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon) are missing, which is a pity because the American character of the breakfast is not quite there!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel right at a beautiful park and close to a subway station. Its location in Greenwich village next to Soho made it a great spot for exploring this city. In addition, we found a convenience store nearby which was great for grabbing snacks and drinks. The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel close to the beautiful Washington Square Park, and the edge of the lively Greenwich Village area. The location was perfect, with easy subway access to other places in the city. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room amenities such as air conditioning and tea/coffee facilities were great. Plus, the flat-screen TV was an added bonus.

Although the hotel was not able to accommodate our online request, the staff were still very pleasant and provided good service. Recommending this venue to family and friends as a great place for a relaxing and convenient stay.

We liked everything, in the complementary breakfast they could have more variety but in general everything was fine.

I asked for a car to go to the airport at a certain time. It had been more than 15 minutes and I didn't arrive, I complained and they were unperturbed, saying that it was the traffic, I asked for an Uber and it arrived at the minute. At the entrance I warned that my son was arriving a few hours early and they didn't want to let him in if he didn't pay for the entire 6-day stay, so I had to insist that they give him the room.

The ideal location at the corner of Washington Square is close to the village! At 5mn from the stonewall... The rooms are impeccable, the breakfast is very good... On arrival we had a dark room that overlooked an inner courtyard. The second night the staff kindly changed us for a bright room.

I recently stayed at this lovely boutique hotel near Washington Square for a weekend getaway. The included breakfast was fabulous, with a great selection of bagels, granola, cereals, juice, tea. The location was unbeatable, within walking distance to the subway and in a safe area. The hotel itself had a charming old-world charm, with friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms with twin beds, and nice toiletries. The decor in the lobby and stairwells was lovely, and the mattress and pillows were very comfy. a truly beautiful and welcoming experience.

The hotel had a great location, with easy access to the subway and plenty of cafes and shops nearby. the breakfast included in the package was fantastic, with freshly baked options that were both delicious and healthy.

One downside of the hotel was the lack of rugs on the bare floors in the rooms. the beds easily rolled around, which was quite annoying.

There was a subway station nearby, which made it easy to travel around the city. The rooms were small but well maintained and comfortable. The service was friendly and helpful. During our stay at The Village Hotel, we were delighted to experience live music at the Cornelia Street Cafe. The local artists created an intimate vibe reminiscent of the 60s, giving us a taste of bygone eras without the lingering smoke. Exploring both the West Side and the East Village, we found New York's best nightlife hotspots, such as Fat Cat and The Bitter End, offering a truly vibrant and authentic experience.

My wife says that she wished the hotel had more kid-friendly activities.

I chose this hotel for attending a assembly because it provides a couple of cool exhibitions taking place here in the city this spring, such as Barcelona's favorite son Joan Miró's surrealistic works. The location and ambiance were perfect for my needs, and the staff was accommodating.
